WASHING:
Linen is highly absorbent and should be washed separately from other fabrics. Before washing, close all buttons, remove any collar stays and turn the garment inside out to prevent colour loss and protect the buttons.

Wash our linen shirts at 40ºC and linen trousers and shorts at 30ºC on a low cycle. If possible, use a neutral detergent to help maintain the fabric’s colour. With each wash, linen becomes softer, enhancing its natural beauty and lustrous quality. With our linen trousers and shorts, we recommend separating the colours on the first wash to prevent fading.

Avoid tumble drying or using bleach, as harsh chemicals can weaken and degrade the fibres.

DRYING:  Remove your linen from the wash promptly. Hang it to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.

IRONING:  For best results, iron your garment while the linen is still slightly damp so it will be easier to remove wrinkles and use high steam to soften the fabric.

HOW TO IRON YOUR SHIRT:

  • Collar: Lay flat and iron the underside from one point to the other. Flip over and repeat.
  • Cuffs: Spread open and iron both sides, avoiding buttons.
  • Front: Carefully iron around buttons, moving from the shoulder down.
  • Back: Anchor a sleeve into the ironing board’s edge, lay the shirt flat, and iron from top to bottom. Shift to iron the other half.
  • Sleeves: Use the sleeve seam as a guide. Lay flat and smooth before ironing from the top to the cuff, repeating on the other side.
